We are experts in the diagnosis and management of sinusitis. There are many reasons patients suffer from recurrent or chronic sinusitis. We are uniquely qualified in the evaluation and management of such patients.

First, we are experts in the management and diagnosis of allergic sinus and nasal conditions. It is widely known that uncontrolled allergies can play a major role in the development of recurrent sinusitis. Treating the underlying allergies with a strategy focused on allergen avoidance measures, medical therapy and or allergy immunotherapy, we are able to reverse and reduce the frequency of sinusitis seen by most patients.

Secondly, we are experts in examining the nose and sinus cavities. Using either nasal endoscopy and or CT sinus X-Rays, we are able to identify the absence or presence of any anatomical abnormalities in the sinus and nasal cavities. We are also very experienced in knowing when a surgeon may be necessary to correct any anatomical abnormalities that are unlikely to be affected by medical or immune modulatory therapy. We are one of only a few clinics in North Texas that are able to offer both in house CT sinus evaluations and naso-sinus endoscopic evaluations. We are committed to finding the accurate diagnosis in the most efficient process possible.

Thirdly, we are experts in the evaluation and management of immunodeficiency problems. While rare, these underlying issues can play a major role in some patients that suffer from recurrent and chronic sinusitis. Using our expertise as immunologists, we are able to accurately include or exclude any immune deficiency that may be at the root of your recurrent or chronic sinusitis. We are experts in the management and treatment of such patients as well. For some patients, only prophylactic antibiotics are needed in the treatment of immune deficiency conditions. Others may need immunoglobulin replacement therapy in order to break free from the underlying immune deficiency.
