About Us
At Southwest Allergy & Asthma Center, we are part of a medical movement that delivers the best medical care in the treatment of allergy, asthma, and sinus related conditions. By using the most advanced medical technology and methods, our specialty trained allergists are able to provide efficient and effective medical care to you and your family. We go further than other allergy offices by delivering care in a compassionate spirit. We truly care about your health and well being. Respect, honesty, timely service, point of care services, efficient check in/out, and environmentally friendly offices are just a few of the motives we have at Southwest Allergy & Asthma Center.
But even more importantly, our mission extends beyond the excellent care we provide our local patients. One percent of our revenue is donated to World Vision. World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.
Dr John Van Wagoner and his staff are equally committed to you and to those less fortunate. We are combining a top notch medical practice that fulfills the needs of our local community while supporting the efforts of a global humanitarian charity - World Vision. By caring for you and those less fortunate than ourselves through our donations, we are making a positive difference in the world- both locally and internationally. We are hopeful that this model of providing compassionate medical care and charitable giving becomes an attractive example of how healthcare is delivered in the future.
We are committed to the following mission:
"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves. … Defend the rights of the poor and needy." — Proverbs 31:8-9
Accordingly, we also are proud of our own local charitable medical clinic- Breath of Life Clinic. This nonprofit clinic has been providing free medical care to poverty stricken children with asthma that live here locally in Collin County over the last 7 years. Poverty stricken patients will find the best available medical care in the field of asthma and never pay a dime for the care which includes comprehensive testing, treatment, management and free medicines. If you have a child or know of a child that currently is living in poverty and is in need, please refer them to our Breath of Life Clinic here at Southwest Allergy & Asthma Center.
